Made in Penang Interactive Museum

Visited this museum recently. Main attractions here are the 3-dimensional wall paintings, you can take nice pictures with them. Beside that, it also features miniature models depicting the history and culture of Penang. We spent about 2 hours here. The museum is located at Weld Quay, so please bear in mind there's limited car parking slots around this area. This place is easily accessible by public transport (bus, taxi) and there are many other tourists attractions nearby. Ticket price for Malaysian: RM15 (adult) and RM10 (children). Price is double for foreign visitors though. Don't miss this unique museum if you're coming to Penang.

Hatten Hotel Malacca

Spent a week at this hotel due to work. For me, this hotel met my expectation for a 4 star business hotel. My deluxe room has modern decoration and quite spacious. There's 2 television in my room, one opposite the bed and another placed in front of a comfortable sofa. Free wifi provided in the room. Toilet also clean and well maintained. Staff are helpful, especially for arranging cab for my daily commute to workplace. Plenty of choices at the buffet breakfast but I am content with good coffee and bread with nice butter spread. The main advantage of this hotel is its location, right at the middle of everything. It is a stone throw away from historical landmarks such as the A'famosa and Taming Sari tower, and surrounded by two shopping complexes. In fact, the hotel is linked via a bridge with the adjacent shopping complex. Price per night is about RM200++.

Busy, busy, busy...

Haven't write anything for past few months!
Too occupied with work stuff, until no time even to visit my own blog. Nevertheless my travel plan went smoothly. Went to Switzerland for two wonderful weeks. Will write about it soon. Also a few domestic trips in Malaysia. For now, some pictures from historical city of Malacca, taken during my working trip there...

Kedai Makan Upin & Ipin

I went to Malacca recently due to work and stayed at the city center. It was fasting month, so one day while walking around looking for place to "buka puasa" (breaking fast) I stumbled upon this unique restaurant called "Kedai Makan Upin & Ipin".

For those who don't know, Upin & Ipin is a Malaysian produced animated television series. It is quite popular locally and also in Indonesia.
